Please see the types of membership below to see which category you fit in most appropriately and register for membership under that category. Details of eligibility are mentioned at Section 3 of the WFSF constitution, which you can see on this website in the section 'About Us'.

The Federation offers four categories of membership: Individual Members, Associate Members, Student Members, Institutional Members. Members have to pay an annual membership fee; the fee rates for different categories of members are mentioned below.

Student Members Institutional Members

Associate Members

Persons who are committed to the purpose and work of the Federation, but who do not have enough experience in futures studies/research to qualify as full Individual members, may become Associate Members. The prescribed fee for Associate Members is the same as that for Individual members and they have the same voting rights and privileges, too.

Student Members

Approved institutional members can nominate upto a maximum of five representatives as individual members of the Federation. Please outline the institution's experience and interest in futures activities. The representatives of the Institutional Members have the same rights and duties as Individual Members.

Annual Membership Fees

Annual membership fees payable for Individual/Associate members is Euro 50, for Student members Euro 30 and for Institutional members Euro 200. In order to establish or retain membership in good standing, all members must pay the yearly Membership Fee each year.

Discounted or Low Income Rate

Discounted or Low Income Rate: In a few rare cases individual or associate members (not students) in exceptional circumstances (being unemployed, for example) may be allowed to pay at a discounted rate (Euro 30, the same fees as for Student members) or may be allowed exemption from payment of fees. Such applicants may send a separate request and valid justification to the secretariat - secretariat@wfsf.org. They can pay at the discounted rate only after their request is approved.
